Our Facilities

Hills District Veterinary Hospital is more than a clinic we aim to provide our patients with the highest possible standards of veterinary care. Our hospital at Dural has state of the art facilities and have specialties availible to come into the hospital and by referral. Our nursing staff are dedicated to the care and wellbeing of pets in the hospital. Our staff are all devoted pet owners themselves, and pets are treated as our own, with every effort made to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Inspections are most welcome.

In-House Pathology

In-House Pathology

Our pathology area allows for allows veterinarians to quickly perform many of these diagnostic tests to achieve an accurate and rapid diagnosis. This is especially important in very ill animals and those requiring immediate or emergency treatment. Some more specialised tests may need to be performed by an external veterinary laboratory. Our in-house laboratory can provide results within minutes. Specialised testing may take 12-24 hours for blood results or up to 14 days for biopsy results,

Grooming Room

Grooming Room

Our grooming room has room for 7 dogs. Our air force dryer ensures your pets are completely dry before they go home, we use this method of drying as it blows the water off the coat rather than drying it out with heat. This means no chance of burns, we also rather tether pets on the table and never leave them alone unless they are put back into their run. Cat grooms are performed upstairs away from the noisy, smelly dogs downstairs.
